All of us, Indians, have grown with the Story of the ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง.
Let me try and form a parallel with that ancient story and todayโs corporate world.
The ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฌ (๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐ฐ๐ง๐๐ซ๐ฌ) and ๐๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ฌ (๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐๐ซ๐ฌ / ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฌ) decided to churn the ocean of milk to obtain ๐๐ฆ๐ซ๐ข๐ญโthe nectar of immortality (๐๐ง๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ / ๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐ข๐ญ).
They agreed to work together and share the rewards equally.
Now, hereโs where it gets interesting.
After all the effort, the Amrit finally emerged.
But what happened to the agreement?
It went out the window. Very much like today.
You can Google news about Indian corporate earnings being at an all-time high in last 15 years and no real income growth of employees in the recent years.
Add to that calls for 70 ๐ก๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ 90 ๐ก๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฐ๐๐๐ค.
The Devas, with the help of Vishnu as Mohini (letโs call her the government here), ensured the nectar only reached them.
If you follow any Indian Financial Influencer, you would be aware that now Income tax earned from hard working Indians who are less than 2% of the total population contribute more than all the corporates put together.
Needless to say, the common tax paying man is left empty-handed despite his/her contribution to corporates profit and the GDP.
Very much like the Asuras.
But why did Vishnu bhagwaan help the Devas?
Didnโt Asurasโ contribution matter equally?
Well God is always with ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐ and apparently Devas represented cosmic order and righteousness (Dharma).
And this is where the parallel ends.
Could it be that Dharma is on the side of Asuras this time?
Doesnโt the common hard-working man need the divine intervention this time?
p.s. The comparison is purely imaginary and has been drawn to make a point.
p.p.s. Not every Corporate is greedy neither every Employee is innocent as a sheep.
