About Me
I am an average Joe just curious about everything around. Be it personal or professional I am excited about learning more and more about situations and people around me. I was born in a middle-class family in Jamshedpur and since then I have stayed, studied and worked in multiple cities like Mysore, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Gurgaon. Currently I work as a Marketing Manager in software company but before this I have worked with a large Information Technology company, ran a couple of Subway franchise operations and even had a month long stint in a BPO.
Personal
I would like to think of myself as an introvert, but my colleagues and friends think otherwise. I have since settled for thinking of myself as an ambivert. I like to read books, travel solo or with family and love to dive into spirituality now and then. I have attended Mahkumbh and also done a 10-day Vipassana meditation course. I also like to write, and this blog is to serve that aspiration. I am active on most social channels, mostly LinkedIn and Instagram.

Experience
I have 15+ years of experience divided equally across small food start-up as an entrepreneur and as a manager in large and small software companies. Luckily, I got the opportunity to work in varied roles such as developer, software implementation, sales rep and currently as a marketing manager. I have loved learning about businesses and how new technologies are impacting them. In my current company I was part of a team which took it from handful of customers to $ 1M+ ARR.
Education
I have done my Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from National Institute of Engineering, Mysore (VTU) and M.B.A. from ICFAI Hyderabad. I had completed my schooling, KG to 12th standard, from Loyola School, Jamshedpur. I am happy to have travelled and studied in different major cities of India as it helped me enjoy the varied culture, food and ethos of the respective region.

Hobbies and Interests
I love to read and write on almost every topic under the sun, well almost. I am deeply interested in politics, outdoor activities, technology, sports, religion, and science etc. On most of these topics I either pick up a book or watch a long detailed Youtube video. I like to practice what I learn. As an example I am deeply fascinated by Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain so I have not only acquired knowledge on the same but also built actual models and invested in cryptocurrencies.

Books/Travel/Movies
I love all 3 and spend considerable time. Although I get limited time for all 3, I target the best books, locations and movies in their class. I seldom read fiction and focus mostly on management, personal development and technology related books. Having stayed in different parts of my beautiful country, India, I have had the chance to travel to beaches of Goa and Tamil Nadu to the peaks of Himalya in Jammu and Kashmir. I love movies and IMDB is my companion in deciding what to watch.
