OpenAI drops a new application called 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫.
Basically it can
· Browse internet
· Use ‘logged in apps’ to do the workflow
· Ask for your input where necessary, like clicking for captcha or making payments
Demo’ed use cases
· Shopping for grocery based on the image of the food item
· Booking flight tickets
· Booking cabs
It will do the grunt work for you like scanning websites, filtering for availability etc.
Google gave you information, OpenAI is giving you agents who can act on that information.
Admitting that it still falls short of human level performance, the geeks are confident they are slowly but surely getting there.
I think anything above 50% automation is good enough use case.
